I really, really liked what happened between my ship. This book follows Juliette as she begins to uncover the truth of her past. She somehow manages to do it in a way that flows nicely and isn’t confusing (which I appreciate).
Mafi continues to introduce new information and characters to the storyline.
I feel like every time Mafi comes out with a new book, the world we thought we knew changes. I am going to try in the least spoilery way, so I am sorry that it’s about to get super vague.įirst, I’ll start by saying this book was really interesting. This book…so much happened in this book, I can’t even begin to explain. Happiness must be uncovered, separated from the skin of pain. “And it’s not insane to imagine that sometimes even horrible people are searching for a way out of their own darkness.” She’s desperate for answers, but to get them, she’ll have to face the nightmares that have been chasing her for a lifetime.
